Loose Heads

Over time and with use, the binding portions of clubs can deteriorate and occasionally club heads will come loose from the shaft. Some reasons it may come loose include the following:

  • Poor preparation of the shaft tip and hosel.
  • The hosel bore is too short.
  • The wrong type of epoxy was used or an improper mixture was used.
  • The wrong size of shaft tip was matched to the wrong hosel size.
  • The shaft was stored somewhere where the temperature was very high (like the trunk of a car).

Our Club Techs go through a 3-stage process that thouroughly cleans and conditions the tip of the shaft and hosel before we install the shaft back into the head. We then utilize the best epoxy in the golf industry to make sure that your club head will stay on the shaft.
